A pair of woman's tekko (hand cover) made of hand-spun cotton and dyed with natural indigo. Laces are made of silk crepe dyed with vegetable purple, It was put on in case of travel. The lining cloth is also hand-spun and natural indigo dyed cotton. Generally in good condition but has some light stains and holes. 19th century. L:28cm W:11cm

Sodenashi (vest) or called 'dogi' which is worn between outer kimono and juban in cold season. It has thin cotton lining. It is made of many kinds of silk fragments such as figured, stripes, katazome (stencil-resist-dyeing) and shibori. The red shibori cloth in front is thin wool muslin and has some moth holes. Purse made of deer skin which has design by smoking with stencil on it. It is called "fusube-gawa". It has beautiful metal work of "Fujin" who is a god of wind and controles it.
