Woman's kimono with "Kogin-sashi" which is embroidery with white cotton thread on indigo dyed hemp. It was made in "Tsugaru" region, now the west part of Aomori prefecture in Tohoku district. This embroidery pattern is named "Kawari yotsu mameko" which means arranged 4 beans. There are nearly 30 patterns of kogin-sashi.
