Cotton girl's juban (under kimono) for furisode (formal kimono) with katazome pattern. It is called beni-itajime which is one kind of board-clamped dyeing with benibana (safflower). Benibana was very precious in old days and it was mainly grown in Shonai region in Yamagata prefecture.
