Cover for tanto (short sword) or other item made of animal skin and coated with urushi. It has the crest of "Roku-mon-sen" meaning six coins which is the crest of Sanada clan. This is an iron candle stand with beautiful rust. The jointing part of the platform and the pole is a bit loose, however no problem for use. The pole used to be extensible but it does not work now.
