Rare item. Hand-painted sample pictures of Meibutsugire which is imported fabrics from China, India, Persia, South East Asia etc. between early 12th and early 18th century. They were mainly silk brocades and silk damask which were used for scroll mountings, fukusa and bags for tea utensils. Meibutsugire literally means named fabrics.
