Hagi-isho juban made of many kinds of recycled silk cloth which are: silk crepe with katazome, shibori, plain silk, stripes and checks woven of wild silk. The dyes are all vegetable and the lining is indigo dyed pongee silk which has white fossil silk inside coming out. This kind of yose-gire juban was worn at the Bon Dance in Nishimonai in Akita prefecture. In excellent condition except for some tiny moth holes. Late 19th to early 20th century. 130cm x 139cm
