"Nuno Sashi Habaki", a pair of shin covers with sashiko for protecting shin and ankle when a woman worked in the field. It has a fragment with sashiko for reinforcement and both cloth are hand-spun cotton. Sashiko thread is indigo dyed cotton. It has originally a cord in the center but lost. The last image is from the book "Noragi" written by Fukui Sadako published by Hosei University Shuppan-kyoku. The first half of the 20th century.
