Shonai-obi hand-woven of wash yarn (Japanese handmade paper) for weft and cotton yarn for warp. It is produced in Shonai region in Yamagata prefecture in Tohoku district. Cotton cloth with stamps which was used by a pilgrim. It has a stamp "Shikoku Forty Fifth" which means No. 45th holy place in Shikoku. It is the Iwaya Temple in Mt. Kaigan in Ehime prefecture in Shikoku. The principal image of the temple is Fudo (Cetaka) and the temple is known as the typical holy place in the mountain. In good condition. A roll of cotton cloth with Miura-shibori from Arimatsu in Nagoya city where has been the main product place of shibori textiles since Edo period. This one is before "yunoshi"that is the process of washing and ironing (smoothing) with steam the cloth. After the process, the cloth becomes usual measurement 35cm x 13m for one yukata (cotton kimono). Vegetable indigo dye. In excellent condition. 1950s to 1980s.

Silk haori with double kasuri asa-no-ha (hemp leaf) pattern. It is Murayama Oshima tsumugi which has been woven in Musashi-Murayama city in Tokyo where silk fabrics have been produced since early 8th century. It is woven with "tama-mayu", double cocoon and kasuri yarn is dyed with b clamp board dye. It was much produced in Taisho and Showa period (early to mid 20th century).
