A pair of tabi cover called 'ko-kake' made of layerds of hand-spun cotton with hand-stitched sashiko for warmth and waterpfoof. It was worn in the field in cold climate. The ground cloth as well as sashiko threads are natural indigo dyed. It has wear and breaks. Late 19th to mid 20th century. L:24cm H:13cm

Furoshiki (wrapping cloth) with kanji tsutsugaki peom which is free-hand drawing with rice-paste resist and dyed with natural indigo and vegetable yellow color. It has hand-sewn stitches in both sides for strength. Late 19th to mid 20th century. In excellent condition and looks scarcely used. 68cm x 80cm

A bag made of knitted hemp thread and hemp cloth. Both warps and wefts are hand-plied. It has a small hyotan and the name of the shop or company is stamped in the back. Generally in good condition but has some stains and one break in the knitted bottom. Late 19th mid 20th century. 33cm x 18cm

Daifuku-cho which was used by a merchant to keep their business record (according to writings, it seems soba restaurant). This one is special because it has labels with client's name made of thin bamboo chips. The paper is handmade "washi", Japanese paper. It is from Shizuoka Pref. judging from the client's name. Showa 8 (1933). In good condition. W:15.5cm L:41.5cm H:6cm
