Korean wrapping cloth, chogappo which is made of asa (ramie or hemp) and dyed with indigo. Both wefts and warps are hand-plied. The frame cloth and the belts are cotton which are renewed. Cotton shibori (tie-dye) cloth for one kimono. It is rare as it is in the original paper wrapping when it was sold. It is written "Arimatsu Shibori" and produced by Owari Arimatsu "Takeda Kahei" which was established in Keicho 13 in Edo (1608) and the company's name changed to "Takeda Kahei Shoten" in Meiji 5 (1873). It is written "1 jo" which is for one kimono and about 12m. In good condition but might have some beige color on the selvedges from aging, however it can be cleaned by washing...
