Rare item. Nagoya-obi with Ainu design which is by embroidery and applique. Nagoya-obi was invented in Taisho period (1912~1925) for easier wearing with casual kimono. The ground cloth is thick black silk crepe. In good condition except for a few minor stains. It is possibly remade from kimono or another item. The first half of the 20th century. 30.5cm x 3m62cm
