A curtain made of thick crepe with shibori(tie-dyeing) design. It is hung horizontally and has belts made of paper and probably used on stage or at ceremony. The dyes are all vegetable, benibana (safflower), indigo (ai) and shikon (purple grass root). In good condition except some belts have wear. 19th century. W:3m92cm L:60cm
