 Sold. Thank you.
Man's kimono made of hand-spun cotton with komon pattern which literally means "small pattern". It is originated in the dyeing of kamishimo, a top and a bottom worn by feudal lords (samurai) during the Edo period. It has machine-woven and indigo dyed cotton lining which is probably imported from England and called "kanakin". The latter half of the 19th century. In excellent condition. 128cm x 127cm
