Woman's formal kimono with Yuzen-zome vine design. Miyazaki Yuzensai, who was a folding fan painter, improved and completed the paste resist dyeing in the second half of the 17th century so that it is called Yuzen-zome. The outline is drawn by rice paste and color dyed, and then the paste is washed away. Part of the leaves have embroidery with gold thread. In excellent condition except for one crest in front has wear. The ground cloth is silk crepe with katazome (stencil-resist-dyeing) small pattern. Late 19th to the first half of the 20th century. 126cm x 145cm
