Yosegire-juban (under kimono) made of silk crepe with shibori (tie-dyein) pattern and dyed with shikon (purple grass root) and beni (safflower), and also plain dyed with shikon. It has plain weave silk with komon (stencil resist-dyeing with small pattern) and silk crepe with stripes. All the fragments are recycled from old kimono. It has indigo and benibana dyed silk lining. In excellent condition except for a few small holes in the top collar. The second half of the 19th century. 126cm x 145cm
