Yosegire-juban (under kimono) made of fragments recycled from old kimono. They are: silk crepe with beni-itajime shibori (board-clamped dyeing), katazome (stencil-resist-dyeing), figured silk etc. All the fragments are vegetable dyed such as beni (safflower), shikon (purple grass root) and ai (indigo) etc. It has pongee silk lining and some threads are hemp. In excellent condition. 19th century. 124cm x 151cm
