Yuzenzome figured sik girl's kimono. It has hand drawn Yuzen-zome cranes, bamboos, plum flowers, pine trees which are all auspicious motifs. It has se-mamori (charm) which is made of silk threads in the back. The baby's kimono is called "Hitotsu-mi" which has no seam in the back and the evil believed to come from th back, so that it has charm sewn in the back. tThe ornamental stitches for the belts in front have same purpose. In good condition but has some stains especially in front. All vegetable dyed. The first half of the 19th century. 79cm x 74cm
