Han-juban (short under kimono) made of recycled fragments from old kimono, which are silk crepe with katazome (stencil-dye), yuzen-zome, shibori (tie-dye), plain etc. The lining is hand-spun cotton and benibana (safflower) dyed. The red cloth with spiral pattern in front is thin wool muslin. The sleeves are removed. In good condition but some fragments are thin or damaged and some moth holes in wool muslin. The second half of the 19th century. 63cm x 57cm
