Han-juban made of several kinds of silk, such as old Oshima-tsumugi with fine kasuri pattern from Amami-Oshima in Okinawa (old name, Ryukyu) Islands (body part), silk crepe with stripes, indigo dyed pongee silk and figured silk for lining. It has silk crepe collar with embroidery. In excellent condition but Oshima-tsumugi is not so strong for remake as it is mud-dye and iron is used for dye mordant. The second half of the 19th century. 126cm x 59cm
