Cotton cloth with Arashi-shibori which is one kind of tie-dye invented in Arimatsu-Narumi in 1880. The cloth is wrapped around a big pole and thread is also rolled around it. The cloth is compressed and dyed. This cloth is remake and made of 4 fragments and has 4 mending patches. It also has a patch written as "hara-maki(belly band)". Te first half of the 20th century. 77cm x 75cm
