Futonji with kasuri pattern which are: bamboo, pine tree, sparrow etc. motifs. It is made of hand-spun cotton and dyed with vegetable indigo. Probably made in Kurume. It is located in Fukuoka Pref. in Kyushu and has been one of the main product places of indigo dyed cotton kasuri since late Edo period (early 19th century). In excellent condition. Mid 19th to early 20th century. 132cm x 144cm
