Oribe-yaki choshi, a container for sake. Oribe-yaki was originally made in Mino in Gifu prefecture. It was first made by Furuta Oribe, a tea master and an apprentice of Senno Rikyu in late 16th century. This choshi has hand-painted chidori and green glaze. In excellent condition with a wood box. The first half of the 20th century. H:12cm Length with a spout:14.5cm
