Two panels of cotton cloth with katazome (stencil-resist-dye) Janome-gasa pattern. Janome-gasa is an umbrella made of bamboo and kakishibu painted washi. The cotton cloth is hand-spun and has rather thick texture. It is made to two panels of noren. In excellent condition. The first half of the 20th century. 63cm x 142cm
