Silk haori with double kasuri asa-no-ha (hemp leaf) pattern. It is Murayama Oshima tsumugi which has been woven in Musashi-Murayama city in Tokyo where silk fabrics have been produced since early 8th century. It is woven with "tama-mayu", double cocoon and kasuri yarn is dyed with b clamp board dye. It was much produced in Taisho and Showa period (early to mid 20th century). In excellent condition. 128cm x 98cm
