Woman's han-juban (short under kimono) made of hand-spun cotton and vegetable indigo dye. It has rather rare katazome (stencil-resist-dye) which is called "urumi-zome" imitating shibori textile. It requires more process than common katazome as it needs another stencil to make blur in the outline. Generally in good condition except for two mending patches in the right front body near the sleeve and one inside (5.5cm x 4cm) and some tiny holes. The second half of the 19th century. W:121cm, L:70cm
