Hannd-spun cotton cloth with katazome (stencil-resist-dye) pattern and vegetable indigo dye. It is called "ai-gaeshi" which means the cloth is indigo dyed twice. In excellent condition, except for one part with irregular dye. The second half of the 19th century. 34cm x 3m36cm
