Etruscan Biconal Cinerary Urn in Italo-geometric style, c. 780 BC; it's the counterpart of the more numerous, usually black impasto biconical urns. Its decoration shows the influence of imported Greek Geometric vase painting, possibly painted by an immigrant Greek artisan. A few old chips, otherwise intact, 10” (25 cm).
