Wooden figure representing a deity in military attire. China, Late Ming, ca. 16th/17th century. H. 39 cm. Condition: expected age wear and old traces of wood worm. ( treated)

Wonderful porcelain jar, decorated in blue and white. Typical wanli pattern of swastikas on the shoulder, the rest of the jar decorated with gardens and two flying cranes, China, Wanli (1573-1620). Condition: two hairline cracks on the mouth rim, one of them with an almost invisible related crack on the shoulder. Dimensions: H. 17,5 cm, Diameter 17 cm.

Diameter: 37 cm. China, 16th/17th century. Condition: age wear and rim fritting, no cracks or repairs.

A wonderful example of Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) burial gifts, this pair of glazed and painted pottery horses and grooms. Dimensions: W. 20 cm H. 17 cm. Condition: expected age wear, no damage or repair.

A lovely burial gift, this glazed and painted pottery offering table. The dishes with food and other objects are fixed to the table. China, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Condition: repairs to the legs, age wear to the glaze and painting. W. 22,5 cm, D. 16 cm, H. 22,5 cm. TL test from Kotalla included.

Lovely blue and white kendi decorated with an immortal in a landscape. China, 1620-1640. Height 18 cm. Condition: some fllebites to the mouthrim, a brown spot due to iron oxide in the glaze, no damage or repairs.

Made in Ganga-Jumna (two color bronze) technique in the 17th century. This complicated technique is nowadays lost. Please note the very fine detail on this figure, like bracelets, anklets and rings. Finely engraved, with excellent dark patina. Two engraved names at the back. China, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). H. 34 cm. Condition: casting flaws (typical for Ming bronzes), ome curl missing at the foot of the figure.

With an overglaze decoration of foo dogs and peonies. China, ca. 1620-1640. H. 16 cm. Condition: 1,5 cm hairline crack at the mouth, minor chips to the footrim.

Very rare and early piece, nicely cast, finely engraved and with a good patina. The Krishna figure has two silver bracelets on each arm. H. 24 cm. Condition: left index finger restored. With an unusual dark blue and turquoise glaze. The woman with an unusual hairdo. H. 34 cm (the man), 31 cm (the woman). Condition: no damage or repair. parts of the soil can easily be removed to obtain a more colorful glaze.

Depicting one of the 24 Tirthankaras with his attendants. His eyes inlaid with silver or electron. Lots of wear due to extensive worshipping. Judging by the beautiful dark brown and green patina, this is an excavated piece. H. 13,5 cm (5,5 inches). Provenance: private collection The Netherlands.
