Wonderful sculpture of South Indian origin, depicting the god Rama, inlaid with gold and a ruby or similar stone. Excellent wear and patina. H. 11 cm (4,5 inches).

Depicting one of the 24 Tirthankaras with his attendants. His eyes inlaid with silver or electron. Lots of wear due to extensive worshipping. Judging by the beautiful dark brown and green patina, this is an excavated piece. H. 13,5 cm (5,5 inches). Provenance: private collection The Netherlands.

Wonderful and complete sculpture of Padmavati, a Hindu goddess who is worshipped as an aspect of the goddess Lakshmi, but who also plays an important role in Jainisme as the protecting goddess of the 23rd Tirthankara. (note the Tirthankara figure on her forehead. H. 22 cm (9 inches). Condition: excellent, nice wear due to intensive worshipping (Puja). Original back plate. Provenance: private collection Belgium.

An export blue and white plate decorated with a bird and floral patterns. Kangxi period (1662-1722). Marked with an Artemisia leaf. Diameter 27 cm. The silver handle was added in 1854 by the wellknown Dutch silversmith J.M. van Kempen in Utrecht(later in Voorschoten). In the 19th century it was very fashionable in The Netherlands to add silver mounts, lids and handles to antique porcelain objects. Silvermarks: walking lion (silver grade 835), minerva head, maker's mark and year letter U for 1854. Condition: the plate has minor chips to the footrim, otherwise perfect, on the silver handle the top part of one of the leaves is missing.

With very fine gold thread embroidery on both sides and the original strings with glass beads. China, 19th century. Measurements: H.8 cm, W.11,5 cm. Excellent condition.

The glasses made of smoky crystal. Minor chips to the tortoiseshell, some of the metal hinges have been replaced in the old days. Very good condition considering the age. China, late 19th century. Width 13, 5 cm. H. 5 cm.

Very rare and early piece, nicely cast, finely engraved and with a good patina. The Krishna figure has two silver bracelets on each arm. H. 24 cm. Condition: left index finger restored. Made in Ganga-Jumna (two color bronze) technique in the 17th century. This complicated technique is nowadays lost. Please note the very fine detail on this figure, like bracelets, anklets and rings. Lovely blue and white kendi decorated with an immortal in a landscape. China, 1620-1640. Height 18 cm. Condition: some fllebites to the mouthrim, a brown spot due to iron oxide in the glaze, no damage or repairs.

An extremely rare set of bronze figures depicting Krishna and his wife Radha. Very well proportioned and extremely finely engraved. Made in Orissa, India in the 17th or 18th century. Krishna is 22 cm high, Radha is 16,5 cm high. A complete set of Krishna and Radha is very hard to find. This set came from a Belgian private collection. A finely carved cinnabar lacquer vase, decorated with figures and pagodas in a mountain landscape. The inside and bottom of the vase with blue enamel. H. 21 cm. Condition: several dents to the mouth and foot, pieces of lacquer missing. Please refer to the pictures. China, 19th century.

Very nice lobed porcelain Qingbai plate with carved peony decoration. China, Song Dynasty (960-1279). Diameter 16 cm. Condition: glaze is locally crackled due to age, there is age wear to the glaze. No damage or repairs.

Wonderful wooden pipe case and tobacco pouch. The pipe case contains the original pipe, made of paktong and bamboo. The pouch in the shape of Daruma,made of softwood and boxwood with inlaid mother of pearl eyes. Dimensions: pipe case L. 23 cm, the pouch H. 10,5 cm, W. 7 cm. Condition: excellent. Wonderful porcelain jar, decorated in blue and white. Typical wanli pattern of swastikas on the shoulder, the rest of the jar decorated with gardens and two flying cranes, China, Wanli (1573-1620). Condition: two hairline cracks on the mouth rim, one of them with an almost invisible related crack on the shoulder. Dimensions: H. 17,5 cm, Diameter 17 cm.

A very interesting set of 5 porcelain bowls with monochrome glaze, marked with maker's mark. China, late Qing or early Republic. H. 6,5 cm, Diameter 11 cm. Condition: small piece of glaze is missing on the inside bottom of the green bowl, the same bowl has a minor glaze imperfection on the outside. The rest of the set is in mint condition.

A very attractive and extremely rare sculpture in the shape of a basket holding a baby boy and girl. The porcelain body with splashes of Qingbai glaze. The outside of the basket decorated with characters for long life and happiness. China, Yuan Dynasty (1279-1368). L. 15cm, W. 11cm, H. 7 cm. Condition: excellent, no cracks or repairs.

A very rare pair of wooden tomb figures with original painting. China, Han Dynasty (206 BC-221 AD). Condition: one head broken, appropriate age wear. H. 27 and 25 cm excluding the stands.

A wonderful blue and white porcelain kendi. China, Wanli (1573-1620). The silver mounts were added in Indonesia in the 19th century. H. 22cm. Condition: excellent, appropriate age wear and a few glaze cracks.

A porcelain Kendi with powderblue glaze and decorations in gold, mounted with a silver lid and spout. China, Qianlong (1736-1795). H. 27 cm. Condition: wear to the gold decoration and wear to the silver (see pictures). The silver spout may have had a small lid, that was connected with a chain to the main lid of the Kendi. Note: Many Kendis were exported to Indonesia, it is very well possible that the silver mounts were added there. Provenance: Amsterdam private collection.
