A very rare bronze set of Buddha and two disciples. Thailand, Early Rattanakosin, early 19th century. Dimensions: Buddha 32 cm excl. parasol, 50cm incl. parasol. The disciples 14 cm high. Condition: excellent, expected age wear to the gilding, original parasol and hand mirror.

A very rare pair of wooden tomb figures with original painting. China, Han Dynasty (206 BC-221 AD). Condition: one head broken, appropriate age wear. H. 27 and 25 cm excluding the stands.

Comprising 20 figures: 4 carriers with a sedan chair, musicians and figures carrying objects. Made of pottery with purple and turquoise glaze, red and black pigments. The figures 19,5 cm tall, the sedan chair 22,5 cm tall (including the detachable roof knob). This group was excavated in the southeast of the Shanxi Province. It is very hard to find big groups like this. Condition: expected age wear, a chip to the inside of the front of the sedan chair, some glaze chips, but all pieces without repairs. A lovely hairpin, decorated with blue kingfisher feathers and ornaments in amber and jade. China, late 19th/early 20th century. Length 16 cm. Condition: wear to the feathers.

A magnificent and rare figure of a fat lady made of painted terracotta. Fat ladies are among the most famous objects of the Tang Dynasty (618-906) and they are a wellknown symbol of wealth.H. 31 cm. Condition: no traces of repairs are visible, most of the original colour is still present.

Good condition, lovely wear and patina. Weight 287 gr. Diameter outside 7,5 cm , inside 5,5 cm. Early 20th century.

Sandstone head of a goddess, from the famous erotic temples of Khajuraho, India. Chandella period (950-1050). The head is 32 cm (13 inch) high. Head plus stand 45 cm (18 inch). Museum quality piece. Provenance: private collection Belgium.

Chinese hairpin, decorated with kingfisher feathers, amber, jade and glass. China, late 19th/early 20th century. H. 15 cm W. 9 cm. Condition: slight damage to the jade ornament on the left, age wear to the feathers.

A magnificent carved boxwood scholar's rock with beautiful age wear and an excellent patina. China, 18th century. H. 29,5 cm. Condition: One large and one small age crack have been filled with wax. Provenance: Dutch private collection.

The marble painted with scenes of Chinese saints in a garden. Size: 34 x 34 cm. Very good condition with expected age wear.

Made in Ganga-Jumna (two color bronze) technique in the 17th century. This complicated technique is nowadays lost. Please note the very fine detail on this figure, like bracelets, anklets and rings. A finely carved cinnabar lacquer vase, decorated with figures and pagodas in a mountain landscape. The inside and bottom of the vase with blue enamel. H. 21 cm. Condition: several dents to the mouth and foot, pieces of lacquer missing. Please refer to the pictures. China, 19th century.

Lovely small bowl with a russet glaze on a black ground. Diameter 9 cm, H. 5 cm. Good condition, no cracks or repairs just some stains due to its long time in the soil. Song Dynasty (960-1279).

Rare and unusual stoneware censer with brown Cizhou glaze. China, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Diameter 13,5 cm, H. 8 cm. Condition: excellent.

Condition: small piece of glaze is missing on the inside bottom of the green bowl, the same bowl has a minor glaze imperfection on the outside. The rest of the set is in mint condition.

Rare and large huanghuali brushpot with its original finish and excellent patina. H. 17 cm, Diameter 17 cm. Condition: an old, worn chip at the top rim, some age cracks, small metal nail at the bottom. China, Qing Dynasty, 18th/19th century.

Boxwood pipe case and tobacco pouch made of a gourd with a boxwood Daruma face with inlaid mother of pearl eyes. Japan, late Edo, 1st half 19th century. Dimensions: pipecase L. 19,5 cm, pouch H. 8,5, W. 8,5 cm.

An extremely rare set of bronze figures depicting Krishna and his wife Radha. Very well proportioned and extremely finely engraved. Made in Orissa, India in the 17th or 18th century. Krishna is 22 cm high, Radha is 16,5 cm high. A complete set of Krishna and Radha is very hard to find. This set came from a Belgian private collection. A very well preserved embroidered silk apron, decorated with small glass mirrors in brass mounts and metal paillets. China, late 19th/early 20th century. H. 83 cm. W. 105 cm. Condition: embroidery is in mint condition, some pieces of glass and a few metal paillets missing.

Lovely blue and white kendi decorated with an immortal in a landscape. China, 1620-1640. Height 18 cm. Condition: some fllebites to the mouthrim, a brown spot due to iron oxide in the glaze, no damage or repairs.

Very nice lobed porcelain Qingbai plate with carved peony decoration. China, Song Dynasty (960-1279). Diameter 16 cm. Condition: glaze is locally crackled due to age, there is age wear to the glaze. No damage or repairs.

In bhumisparsa mudra (calling the earth to witness). Carved in hardwood, then lacquered and gilded. H. 52 cm. Condition: wonderful original condition with expected age wear. Provenance: Dutch private collection.

A rare huanghuali stationary box with it's original iron hardware and original finish. China, 18th/19th century. Dimensions: 33,5x17x9 cm. Condition: small repair top left front side, a few chips.

A very nice Yaozhou celadon bowl with an moulded floral decoration. Song Dynasty (960-1279) Height 5 cm Diameter 11,5 cm Condition: excellent, with light wear to the glaze.

Museum quality piece. The front decorated with two dragons and the flaming pearl, the back decorated with bats, the standing rim decorated with colorful flower bands, both on the inside and outside. China, 19th century. Dimensions: 22 x 15,5 cm. Condition: excellent. A similar tray can be found in the catalogue of the opium exhibition at Kunsthal Rotterdam (collection F. Bertholet and C. Hoogendoorn) page 177 and 178.(see pictures)

Made of silk, decorated with intricately embroidered panels with flower baskets, butterflies and Buddhist symbols. With 4 solid gold buttons ( total weight ca. 25 gr.) condition: stains and discoloring of the silk, the embroidery in very good condition. Dimensions: 110x135 cm. ca. Late 19th century

Decorated with honeycomb motif. H. 7 cm, D. 15 cm. The glaze crackled due to age and with firing flaws. Miniscule rim crack. No damage or repair.

The lid with a sage or immortal holding a book, the handles in the shape of mythical animals, the body decorated with dragons and clouds, the censer is carried by three kneeling boys. A finely carved sculpture in boxwood of Guanyin, the goddess of mercy. China, late Qing to Early Republic period, ca. 1900-1920. H. 19,5 cm. Condition: minor age cracks, good patina.
