A very rare bronze set of Buddha and two disciples. Thailand, Early Rattanakosin, early 19th century. Dimensions: Buddha 32 cm excl. parasol, 50cm incl. parasol. The disciples 14 cm high. Condition: excellent, expected age wear to the gilding, original parasol and hand mirror.
A very rare pair of wooden tomb figures with original painting. China, Han Dynasty (206 BC-221 AD). Condition: one head broken, appropriate age wear. H. 27 and 25 cm excluding the stands.
Comprising 20 figures: 4 carriers with a sedan chair, musicians and figures carrying objects.
Made of pottery with purple and turquoise glaze, red and black pigments. The figures 19,5 cm tall, the sedan chair 22,5 cm tall (including the detachable roof knob). This group was excavated in the southeast of the Shanxi Province. It is very hard to find big groups like this. Condition: expected age wear, a chip to the inside of the front of the sedan chair, some glaze chips, but all pieces without repairs. Min g Dynasty (1368-1644)

A magnificent and rare figure of a fat lady made of painted terracotta.
Fat ladies are among the most famous objects of the Tang Dynasty (618-906) and they are a wellknown symbol of wealth.H. 31 cm.
Condition: no traces of repairs are visible, most of the original colour is still present.
Good condition, lovely wear and patina. Weight 287 gr. Diameter outside 7,5 cm , inside 5,5 cm. Early 20th century.
Sandstone head of a goddess, from the famous erotic temples of Khajuraho, India. Chandella period (950-1050). The head is 32 cm (13 inch) high. Head plus stand 45 cm (18 inch). Museum quality piece. Provenance: private collection Belgium.
Chinese hairpin, decorated with kingfisher feathers, amber, jade and glass. China, late 19th/early 20th century. H. 15 cm W. 9 cm. Condition: slight damage to the jade ornament on the left, age wear to the feathers.
With original pigments and excellent patina.

A magnificent carved boxwood scholar's rock with beautiful age wear and an excellent patina. China, 18th century. H. 29,5 cm.
Condition: One large and one small age crack have been filled with wax.

An extremely rare set of bronze figures depicting Krishna and his wife Radha. Very well proportioned and extremely finely engraved. Made in Orissa, India in the 17th or 18th century. Krishna is 22 cm high, Radha is 16,5 cm high. A complete set of Krishna and Radha is very hard to find. This set came from a Belgian private collection.
