Condition: As is often seen on Ming bronzes the casting is very thin in several places. This has caused minor holes in the bronze. The backside of the seat is missing. Please refer to the pics.
Remains of red and black pigment are visible.

Wonderful porcelain jar, decorated in blue and white. Typical wanli pattern of swastikas on the shoulder, the rest of the jar decorated with gardens and two flying cranes, China, Wanli (1573-1620). Condition: two hairline cracks on the mouth rim, one of them with an almost invisible related crack on the shoulder. Dimensions: H. 17,5 cm, Diameter 17 cm.

Each figure with green glaze and red, black, white and yellow pigments. The heads are detacheable. China, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).

Very fine sculpture, depicting Durga, the mother goddess, with eight arms holding weapons, riding on a tiger (visible on the left). H. 10 cm (4inches). Good wear an patina. Provenance: private collection Belgium.

Very rare and early piece, nicely cast, finely engraved and with a good patina. The Krishna figure has two silver bracelets on each arm. H. 24 cm. Condition: left index finger restored. Made in Ganga-Jumna (two color bronze) technique in the 17th century. This complicated technique is nowadays lost. Please note the very fine detail on this figure, like bracelets, anklets and rings. H. 13 cm.

A rare and early wooden Guanyin. Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Guanyin seated on a throne flanked by two birds. H. 54 cm. The back of the figure has a small cavity which contains a small silk parcel containing offerings.
Condition: age wear, old insect infestations, traces of repainting on the base.
Provenance: in my private collection since the mid 90’s, bought in Hongkong from Wing Kei Curios, Hollywood Road.
Comprising 20 figures: 4 carriers with a sedan chair, musicians and figures carrying objects.
Made of pottery with purple and turquoise glaze, red and black pigments. The figures 19,5 cm tall, the sedan chair 22,5 cm tall (including the detachable roof knob). This group was excavated in the southeast of the Shanxi Province. It is very hard to find big groups like this. Condition: expected age wear, a chip to the inside of the front of the sedan chair, some glaze chips, but all pieces without repairs. Min g Dynasty (1368-1644)

Finely engraved, with excellent dark patina. Two engraved names at the back. China, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). H. 34 cm. Condition: casting flaws (typical for Ming bronzes), ome curl missing at the foot of the figure.
With green and ochre glaze and red and black pigments. H. 18 cn. No damage or repair.

A wonderful Qingbai porcelain wine ewer from the Hutian kilns. China, Song Dynasty (960-1279). H. 16 cm. Condition: some discoloring in the glaze, small ornament on top of the handle restuck, small chip from the ornament on top of the lid.
Diameter 13 cm, h. 4 cm. Very good condition, just minor fleebites to the mouthrim. Song Dynasty (960-1279).

A lovely pair of wine cups on stands in Yaozhou celadon.

Condition: excellent, no damage or restorations, only a very minor flea bite to the mouth rim of one cup.
