Green glazed pottery stye, containing 5 moulded goats, a typical burial gift from the Han Dynasty (206BC-220AD). Diameter 22 cm. H. 7 cm.
Condition: iridescent glaze with normal age wear.

A fine 17th/18th century bronze Buddha head with a nice verdegris patina and remains of gilding. H. 17,5 cm. Repair to the left ear (excavated piece).

Hexagonal pewter teapot inlaid with brass panels engraved with birds, plants and fruits, all with their own auspicious meaning. Qianlong period (1736-1795). H. 24 cm. Good condition with good age wear and patina.
There is a mark on the inside of the lid. I’ve collected this piece in Beijing in the late 90’s and kept it in my private collection ever since.

A heavily potted porcelain jar, made in two horizontal parts, with an underglaze blue floral decoration.
South Chinese work from the 16th/17th century. H. 21 cm, D. 19 cm.
Condition: very good, no damage or repairs, the glaze is a bit dull and has craquelé because this jar was excavated and spent 4 centuries under the soil.
Provenance: in my private collection since I found this jar in Beijing in the late 90’s.
A very rare lobed spittoon enameled with floral decorations very unusual colors, like yellow and purple. Diameter 8,4 cm, H. 4,8 cm. Good condition with normal age wear. Ca. late 19th century.
A lobed tray made of brass and copper, enameled in cloisonné technique, decorated with two dragons chasing the flaming pearl. Dimensions 23 x 18 x 2 cm. The tray is in good condition with normal age wear. Ca. Late 19th century..
Divination piece in the shape of the god Eshu, placed by a priest next to his divination board. Eshu guarantees that all the other gods will be present and so the priest’s oracle will be accurate. H. 16 cm. This piece dates from the early 20th century, possibly older. Condition: age cracks, minor chips and good age wear. Provenance: Collection van der Zee, Leerdam, The Netherlands. A very unusual pair of pillow ends, both made of three panels. The central panels with scenes of deities or mythological figures in a garden, the openwork side panels with floral decorations and bats, symbolizing happiness, longevity and prosperity. These pillow ends were stitched to an embroidered pillow meant to decorate the wedding bed. This was common practice among the rich Chinese in Singapore and Malaysia. Date: early 20th century. Dimensions: 30x8,5 cm. Weight 128 g.

Bengali Venugopala (Krishna), 18th century. H. 19 cm. Made of bronze, the eyes inlaid with silver. As often seen on early Krishna statues the flute is missing. 5he figure has been handled and worshipped a lot, resulting in a wonderful patina.

A very fine beaded dance panel from the first quarter of the 20th century. Dimensions: 29 x 29,5 cm. Good condition.

Part of a door lock. Dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. Great encrusted patina. H. 40 cm.
Ancient bronze food container dating from the Han Dynasty (206BC-220AD). With a domed cover with loop handles. When inverted the cover becomes a tripod dish.
H. 15 cm, Diameter 21,5 cm.
Condition: Good condition with excellent verdegris and lapis patina.
