H. 61 cm. One hand and part of the left foot missing. Excellent age wear and patina.

A rare and early wooden Guanyin. Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Guanyin seated on a throne flanked by two birds. H. 54 cm. The back of the figure has a small cavity which contains a small silk parcel containing offerings.
Condition: age wear, old insect infestations, traces of repainting on the base.
Provenance: in my private collection since the mid 90’s, bought in Hongkong from Wing Kei Curios, Hollywood Road.

Collection of 5 Cambodian bronze belt buckles mounted on a plexiglass stand. The buckles are 8 to 9 cm in diameter and have a beautiful verdegris patina. They are in good condition. The plexiglass stand is 38 cm tall and 27 cm wide. It has some scratches under the base.

The lid with a fine decoration of floral patterns. The silver makes a great contrast with the dark patina of the copper. L. 7,5 cm, H. 6 cm. Very good condition.
Extremely fine and rare mask, made of hardwood. Warm glossy patina and beautiful age wear. Early 20th century. H. 22 cm. Comes with a patinated brass stand.

Exceptional and early mask covered with a reddish brown paint (original). Oval eyes, sharp nose and full lips. Originally there was an iron pin in the forehead. H. 21 cm. 19th to early 20th century.

Lovely early 20th century chair with 3-dimensional carvings on the stretchers, depicting scenes from daily life: a farmer with his cows, a hunting scene, a woman with a baby and 3 figures in a canoe. Judging from the lighter color of the stretchers they may be from a later date, but still from the first half of the 20th century. The chair is in good condition, it has its original leather seat. There is some damage to the carvings and some pieces are missing. Dimensions: 67x36x36 cm...
Stunning pulley with a human figure carrying a bowl on the head. Exceptional patina and age wear. This piece dates from the estly 20th century, but might even date from the late 19th century. H. 23 cm.

The small size of the figures (23-29 cm) makes this an interesting and rare group. The moulded figures still have much of their painting intact. The come in different sizes with different faces. Originally they carried wooden attributes or weapons.
Condition: normal age wear, a few repairs (one arm and some toes, see pictures), overal in very good condition. Every figure comes with an acrylic stand
