Elaborate headdress or part of a headdress, used by young girls during a harvest dance (niambai). The lower part is made of thick plate silver, from there three poles of woven silver wire go up and end in a wild bush of wire with silver and cotton ornaments at the end. H. 30 cm, W. 33 cm. Very good condition. This piece can be dated in the 19th to very early 20th century which makes it very rare.

The lock pendant with a very fine de oration of a Taoist saint on a horse, a servant with an umbrella and a pavillion or temple. The backside with characters ood luck, prosperity, protection etc. Necklaces like this were given as protective amulets to babies and women. Ca. 19th to early 20th century. The lock pendant 6,5 x 4,5 cm. The necklace 5 cm. High quality silver with nice age wear and patina. From a Dutch private collection.

Lovely late Qing purse, decorated on both sides with butterflies, insects, fruits and flowers on a golden ground. The original silk carrying strap contains beads in white metal (not silver) and coral colored glass beads. The purse 11,5 x 11,5 cm. Total length with strap 64 cm. Diameter of the glass beads 1,7 cm. A very unusual piece that I've never seen before. Possibly this lamp was made as an advertising piece for a lamp shop, or maybe it was used in an opium kit. The foot has decorations in reliëf, covered with enamels. H. 25 cm (10 inch), D. 21 cm (8,5 inch). Condition: two minor chips to the enamel. The glass seems to be original.

One decorated on both sides with flowers and butterflies , 11 x 10 cm , one decorated with two Chinese boys in a garden, 11 x 11 cm, one decorated in forbidden stitch with a Foo dog, bats and Buddhist symbols, 15 x 8,5 cm, the last one is probably a needle case, decorated with flowers in forbidden stitch.
