Made of white silk and striking blue embroideries. There are two large and two smaller panels with five-clawed dragons in silverthread, surrounded by blue decorations and there are several blue embroideries depicting a phoenix. The two larger dragons are surrounded by colorful birds. Dimensions: 90x123 cm. Condition: some wear and tear on the inside lining, on the outside just a few very light stains and some discoloring. Rectangular tray, made of wood with woven rattan panels, covered with red lacquer, painted with landscapes in black and gold, inlaid with mother of pearl. Very fine workmanship! The poem was written by the Tang Dynasty poet Liu Tsung-Yeng. Ca. first half 19th century. Dimensions: 37,5 x 22 x 2,5 cm. Condition: overall in an exceptional condition with all the mother of peatl inlay intact, minor age wear and chips.

Octagonal silver tray embossed and engraved with Chinese figures in a garden with pavillions around a pond. On the left there is a phoenix, at the top there is a dragon. The tray measures 32 x 23,5 cm and weighs 823 grams. It is made of high quality silver, according to the acid test that we did. It has a very strong oxidation. Possibly an excavated piece. Mid Qing, 18th to early 19th century. Provenance: collected in Beijing in 1995, since then in my private collection.

The result of the thermoluminescence test by Kotalla is consistent with the dating of this lot. The report is included in the sale.
