A rectangular repoussé box, decorated with peony, floral sprays and Buddhist symbols. The sides decorated with meanders, the back with floral motives and a ‘Shou’ character, symbolizing longevity. Both sides of the box have gilded details. Dimensions: 10 x 8,5 x 4,5 cm. Weight: 242 g. The box is in very good condition and has normal age wear. Date: 19th to early 20th century.

Rare and large bronze shrine. The central figure is a Jina or Tirthankara. He is surrounded by small Jina's on the back plate. Each of the 24 Tirthankaras is represented by an animal or a symbol. There is an engraved animal on the foot of this shrine, but it is hard to distinguish which animal it is. The shrine is in an excellent condition, all three parts belong together, there are no repairs. It has a clean appearance due to the daily worshipping and washing tradition in Jainism...

A very finely carvedI do-Portuguese panel depicting the virgin Mary being crowned by the holy trinity: Jesus Christ on the left, God on the right and the Holy Spirit in the middle. The virgin Mary is surrounded by clouds and putti. The panel is flanked by flower branches growing from a vase. Dimensions: H. 47 cm, W. 32 cm. Condition: expected age wear, remains of polychromy, a few missing parts (holy spirit and the left arm of God) and restorations.
