Made in Chinese Wanli style. The back with the typical Arita spur marks. Very good condition. D. 31,5 cm. The blue in the pictures comes out a bit dark. The real color is lighter and softer.

Rare iron helmet covered with black lacquer, inlaid with mother of pearl. At the front there is a 'Mon', a family crest. The inside is lacquered in red and bears the name of the owner. He original linen attachment loops are still present. Diameter 37 cm, H. 16 cm. Condition: minor chips at the rim, a few pieces of mother of pearl are missing. Overall in very good condition considering the age and the material. Meiji period (1868-1912).

Wonderful set of 5 cups and saucers with very fine decorations in the typical Ko-Imari palette of underglaze blue, iron red green enamel and gold. apart from some light age wear to the painting this set is in a perfect condition; no chips, cracks, or repairs. Every part is marked with a cherry flower in red and gold. Genroku period (1688-1703)
These bottles were commissioned by the Dutch who had their trade base on the artificial island of Decima, Nagasaki. Made of porcelain and decorated in transfer technique. 'Japanschzoya'means: Japanese Soy, CPD stands for 'Compradoor Decima' and means: trader at Decima. The same text can be found in the round seal on the back. H. 17,5 cm. Excellent condition.

The pouch in the shape of Daruma,made of softwood and boxwood with inlaid mother of pearl eyes. Dimensions: pipe case L. 23 cm, the pouch H. 10,5 cm, W. 7 cm. Condition: excellent. Age: Late Edo, first half 19th century.
