Elaborate headdress or part of a headdress, used by young girls during a harvest dance (niambai). The lower part is made of thick plate silver, from there three poles of woven silver wire go up and end in a wild bush of wire with silver and cotton ornaments at the end. H. 30 cm, W. 33 cm. Very good condition. This piece can be dated in the 19th to very early 20th century which makes it very rare.
A very fine example of Burmese lacquer ware, dating from the Mandalay period, ca. late 19th/early 20th century. Apart from sone minor chips to the lacquer and normal age wear, this offering bowl is in excellent condition. H. 58 cm. Diameter 31 cm.

The handle in the shape of a Bulul (rice god) figure with inlaid shell eyes. Good traces of use and wear, wonderful deep and glossy patina. Comes with a museum quality black metal stand. 19th/early 20th century.

Lovely Burmese Buddha, made of terracotta covered with sheet silver, finely chiseled and engraved. Shan State. H. 11 cm. Condition: minor dents, overall in good condition, even the ears are still present!
