Octagonal silver tray embossed and engraved with Chinese figures in a garden with pavillions around a pond. On the left there is a phoenix, at the top there is a dragon. The tray measures 32 x 23,5 cm and weighs 823 grams. It is made of high quality silver, according to the acid test that we did. It has a very strong oxidation. Possibly an excavated piece. Mid Qing, 18th to early 19th century. Provenance: collected in Beijing in 1995, since then in my private collection.
