Rare group of 10 Indo-Portuguese silver crowns, finely chiseled and engraved. These crowns once adorned the heads of colonial wooden saints in the churches and monasteries of Goa. The largest crown 4,5 x 4 cm the smallest croen 3 x 2 cm. Two crowns are inlaid. I did not check the stones; they could be rough rubies and sapphires, very common in India. Condition: One crown is missing a stone. Otherwise in good condition with appropriate age wear. Provenance: In my private collection since 1995. Collected in Mumbai, India.
