Watercolor painting of a tropical river with thatched huts and small boats, 13 1/4" by 17 1/4" plus simple protective-only framing, signed at lower left "T S. Palasakdi" and dated there 1968. Quickly executed and impressionistic, the work captures a common scene of Southeast Asia. I would lean toward an Indonesian origin but I suppose this could also be Thai. The framing is functional only (the remains of an inner frame); a new frame is required.
