Offered is a PAIR of unframed watercolor on heavy paper paintings, each in turn with a simpler work or study on the reverse side, each signed by Southern California listed artist KEN DECKER (1926-1994). Decker, according to printed information on the sleeve (these 11 1/4" by 15" works are not framed), was born in St. Louis, and after growing up in Southern California and military service in the Pacific, studied at the Portland School of Art in Oregon. Decker worked as an illustrator and then became a professional watercolor instructor. He is best known in northern San Diego County. Decker is included in Gordon McClelland's landmark book on the California watercolor artists.
