An oil on canvasboard 8" by 10" painting (15" by 17" in likely original circa 1970 frame) signed at lower right by noted Disney artist JACK BUCKLEY (1915-1995). The subject, painted vigorously, with palette knife, is a white-painted shed in a winter or early spring landscape. Buckley was born in Fresno. He studied at the California College of Arts and Crafts. After World War II military service, he went into commercial art, eventually becoming quite well known at Disney Studios. Buckley had a penchant for painting railroad cabooses.
