An elegant, black ink on white paper drawing of the heart of Montmartre in Paris, the famous Place du Tertre, where to this day artists endure ten year waiting lists to secure a spot outdoors to create the works tourists love to buy. This beautiful drawing is signed at lower right with what appears as "Dieter Gly(xx)" and is dated there 1958. It is in excellent condition, considering it is over sixty years old. Simply framed in black strip, it is ready for the wall. The drawing itself measures 13" by 18 1/2" and the entire work measures 21" by 24 1/2" as framed.
