A modernistic oil thin canvas, laid on plywood, signed at lower left in Hebrew script. The subject is a still life including cup and saucer, what appears to be a pitcher, and other table top items arranged in an intentionally shallow space. The work measures 18 1/2" by 22" and is unframed. The wood panel has warped with time, causing the work to be concave. A restorer could likely remove from the wood and place it on another canvas but of course that would come at a cost. I have had Hebrew readers attempt to make out the signature but to date no one has successfully identified the artist. The work probably dates to about the 1960's or 1970's. The artist was obviously talented.
