Oil on canvas laid against wood panel painting of a young woman in traditional type clothing of Southeast Asia, likely the Philippines or Indonesia. The sizable work measures 37" by 24" (43 1/2" by 30 1/2" in wood frame). At lower right, in red, there does appear to be a signature but I am not certain as to how it reads; possibly "HA.....". The canvas is a little buckled especially at left, as it is laid against the panel and not firmly glued to it. There is soiling and a few other minor flaws that come with age, such as a light scuff from shoulder to breast area, some minor paint loss near there and near thumb, and so forth.
