THREE unframed paintings on canvas, including a landscape viewed through a window (24" by 36"), a female figure on a balcony (36" by 24"), and a woman reclining on a bed (40" by 30"), one of the works signed at lower right by California-Japanese artist YURI MASON (1920-2000). As only one of the works is signed (and dated 1988), I would like to keep them together, as they were acquired together. There is little information on the artist, who painted in the San Francisco Bay area. She is said to have been among the internees at the camps set up in remote desert locations to hold those of Japanese ancestry in the World War years. All three of these stylish paintings are in excellent condition. Frame, or hang unframed on the contemporary walls of your urban loft!
