Included in the collection are books by presidents (Jimmy Carter), senators, a Secretary of State, military generals, First Lady Barbara Bush; well-known figures like John Dean, John Edwards, Daniel Ellsberg, Gloria Steinem, Larry Flynt, Newt Gingrich, Al Gore, John McCain, Bernie Sanders, Colin Powell. The earliest works are from 1957 and 1962, ranging from there up to the present day; the great majority date to the past twenty years. Conditions are generally clean with little wear.
