An original 19th century hand-colored lithograph print, "Tallulah Falls--Georgia", by the noted Currier & Ives firm, unframed, the sheet 10" by 13 3/4". Tallulah Falls is a scenic location in far northeast Georgia's mountains, now a part of Tallulah Gorge State Park. This print retains its rich hand coloring. Most of the condition issues, commonly encountered with old Currier prints, are contained within the margins. These include staining, torn or dog-eared corners, short edge tear, tape residue, etc. Framing would hide most of the faults. Brand new, perfect condition giclees are available online, but they do not have the antique authentic feeling of the original.
