A PAIR of vintage movie posters, "Lost in America" (1985) and "Defending Your Life" (1991), both hand signed in black marker by the noted comedian, actor and writer ALBERT BROOKS. His best-received film, Lost in America (1985), featured Brooks and Julie Hagerty as a couple who leave their yuppie lifestyle and drop out of society to live in a motor home as they have always dreamed of doing, meeting disappointment. He starred with Julie Hagerty in that film, and with Meryl Streep in "Defending Your Life". The posters are identically framed and measure 40 1/2" by 28". They are behind thin Plexi which has become scratched, so allow for apparent flaws in the posters which are actually scratches in the Plexi. The colors of the posters may have changed over time due to exposure to sunlight; "Lost in America" is a light pinkish color, but it may have been yellow when issued. I am not certain on this.
